Parthenocarpy

Parthenocarpy is a process of producing fruits without fertilization of ovules. Parthenocarpic fruits are seedless and can be natural or artificial. Some examples of parthenocarpic fruits are banana, pineapple, cucumber, and grape. Parthenocarpy can be classified into three types: vegetative, stimulative, and stenospermocarpy.
